Allied Wholesale Electrical Supply, Inc. is a family-owned company founded in 1985 by Bob McCurdy, whose vision was simple: keep the right inventory on hand and treat every customer like family. His son, Rob McCurdy, joined the business and later purchased it in 2009, carrying those same principles forward.
Over the years, the company has grown from a family operation into one of the largest independent electrical distributors in Indiana, with a 54,000-square-foot warehouse on Indianapolis’ west side and branches serving customers across the state. In 2016, Allied expanded further by acquiring a plumbing distributor in Bloomington, broadening the company’s reach and product capabilities.
